Etisalat to launch CloudTalk for SMEs in UAE

UAE telecom group Etisalat is set to launch a cloud-based business unified communication and collaboration service for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the country.  The service is known as Etislalat CloudTalk. 

Etisalat will launch CloudTalk in collaboration with Ribbon Communications. Etisalat CloudTalk will offer an integrated solution for internal and external communication purposes. Etisalat has partnered with Ribbon Communications to ensure a secure, scalable and cloud-based communication and collaboration solution for businesses.

Ribbon Communications is a US-based firm that designs IP-based real-time communications security and software solutions.

Etisalat Group’s Chief Business Officer Salvador Anglada, told the media that, “We are delighted to launch CloudTalk along with our partner Ribbon Communications. The agile, secure, and cloud-based solution will be beneficial for businesses looking to simplify their complex communication infrastructure. The launch of this unique platform enables Etisalat to be a single provider for cloud telephony, offering comprehensive tools at a viable price. CloudTalk will ensure seamless switching between devices in real-time from any location. Its other benefits include instant messaging, video conferencing, screen sharing and mobile apps to improve user experience. 

Etisalat’s CloudTalk service will be delivered over a cloud private branch exchange (PBX) demonstrating its leadership in digital transformation. Etisalat’s CloudTalk requires minimal time for deployment and performance is optimum. It is a pay-as-you-go model and allows customers to work in multi-channel communication environments. This model in turn reduces upfront investments.
