Spain, Russia to hold year of education and science in 2019-2020


Both countries will hold a cross year of education and science in the two years, according to Spanish Minister of Science Pedro Duque

Duque communicated the information to Sputnik this week, stating: “It will be 2019 or 2020. We will try to start it in 2019. We want to expand our relations.”

“A few years ago, there was a cross year of tourism. Now, we will hold a year of education, higher education and science,” Duque further added to the statement.

According to Duque, there are numerous projects that Spain should implement with the participation of Russia.

In 2016-2017, the Russia-Spain year of tourism was successfully held by Moscow and Madrid.
